Notes
The charger shown features a ‘special finish’ to the back with orange lustre bands and lines. This finish, difficult to appreciate when the plate is hung on a wall or when flat on a table, has been recorded on a number of lustre designs that were used for plates (some typical examples are shown for patterns 5373 and 7339).
