Notes
Many of the pots recorded for pattern A7565 have been located in the USA. This is a BC lustre pattern, a type of lustre developed by Gray’s Pottery during the Second World War and used for many lustre patterns that were exported to North America.
The beaker and plate have Gray’s N5 Clipper backstamps, the jug/pitcher has the Old Castle backstamp as shown in the fourth image. This suggests that Gray’s probably used the same pattern numbers for the same design across Gray’s/Old Castle products.
