Pattern Numbers

Researchers are reminded that Gray’s Pottery produced of the order of 19,000 patterns during the firm’s 55-year history. This section of the website aims to present an image of each known pattern in order to help in the identification of pieces – newly-found patterns will be added on a regular basis.
The list, in increasing alphanumerical order, shows the design type (as described in the ‘Classification’ section), pattern name (relatively few), projected date and designer where there is documentary evidence to substantiate these, similar patterns, together with image credits and relevant notes.
