Notes
Gray’s Pottery produced many designs with a grapevine motif. 7507/A7507 are good examples of this and show the quality of the company’s decorating skills: this is an entirely freehand painted pattern with a great deal of brushwork.
Judging by the number of examples of the pattern at auction and on auction sites, it must have been very popular. It appears to have been used predominantly for tea and coffee ware.
This pattern appears identical to A7507.
