Notes
This poor image suggests that this may be a ‘blue’ version of A4691, or perhaps the pattern number has been written incorrectly (it’s the only item of A4921 that has been recorded).
This pattern refers to both shape and decoration.
The shape, referred to as either a wall pocket or a wall vase, was made in two sizes: (approximately) 215mm/8½” deep x 190mm/7½” wide and 260mm/10¼”deep x 280mm/11” wide.
Originally created in 1938, the shape and its decorations were re-created, with different numbers, in the 1950s.
The lowest image shows matt-glazed versions that have been recorded but which have no pattern number.
