Manchester City Museum & Art Gallery has a purée bowl and stand of this pattern in its collection: its 1935 accession record (1935.112) indicates a price of 10/6d (52½p) per dozen.
The name Sunnydale appears on very few examples of the pattern that have been recorded. It may have been a name given at a later date, because it seems that production continued for a number of years: recorded pots include backstamps Clipper N5 (used from 1945-50) and N6 (1948-61).
