This pattern appears only to have been used on stoneware shapes.
It is unusual, when assessing the examples so far recorded, that they all carry the pattern number A8769 and there is no suffix to indicate a specific colour, the normal practice for Gray’s Pottery designs where several different colours are available. Pattern number A8772 exhibits the same trait.
