Upper Section of the North Wall

There are no pictures surviving of the mosaic in situ but this image shows where it was located: in what became a window on the upper floor. The mosaic was severely damaged when it was smashed out in order to fit the window (damaged state below). Fortunately much of the material was saved, new tiles made and incorporated, to create the restored mosaic (bottom image).
