This is an early example of a Gray’s pattern being produced in a variety of ‘colourways’, each having a distinct number. There are examples shown in the last image: 593 – deep blue (bottom right), 1160 – light blue (bottom left), 2614 – purple, 2615 – pink (top right), 2616 – green (top left).
