Notes
If the amount of 7670 pattern pots seen at auction and on auction sites is anything to go by, this must have been a very popular pattern. It is likely that production continued well into the 1930s.
The design has been recorded on a wide range of mostly useful ware such as cups & saucers of various shapes, teapots, coffee pots, jugs, preserve pots, condiment sets and toast-racks.
The rather rare ‘Susie Cooper Ware’ backstamp (reference D2, 1928 in the Backstamps section) seems to have been used predominantly in the pattern range 7366-8071. Of five popular patterns within the range (numbers 7670, 7913, 7956, 7960 and 8071) relatively few examples of backstamp D2 have been recorded with the sole exception of 7670.
