Most of the pots recorded have been in the USA where Gray’s splashed lustre designs seemed to have been especially popular in the late 1940s and through into the early 1950s. These recorded pots are all items of useful ware: tea ware, plates and jugs.
A8954 uses the same enamelled prints as pattern A8834, unofficially named Hunting.
