The (British) Design Index entry (last image) reads Groundlayed in pink, with a band of silver resist vine at edge, finish in silver. A modern version of the old silver resist, specially designed for the American market* where it is meeting with some success. A complete range of jugs, plates, cigarette boxes, dishes, bowls etc., is made in this pattern.
